Professional Background

ABANYC was founded by Zaur J. Isaakov, Ph.D., LBA, BCBA-D, a behavior analyst, educator, and consultant with more than two decades of experience in applied behavior analysis, education, behavioral consultation, and professional training.

His work has included consultation with schools, families, educators, clinicians, and interdisciplinary teams, with an emphasis on functional assessment, behavior intervention, skill development, data-based decision making, and the practical implementation of behavioral supports.

In addition to clinical and educational consultation, Dr. Isaakov teaches psychology at the college level and develops digital tools and professional resources intended to make behavioral principles more accessible and usable across everyday settings.
